Preempting China

Instead of fighting a pitched battle, it is better to fail the strategy of the opponent.

Of the late a lot is being read into the modus operandi of China, which by many standards has not been up to the mark. Rather it has been predatory. It's tactics have varied beyond  the spectrum of ethics & morals observed by comity of nations, but just short of being 'acts of war'.

Having lost the element of surprise due to exposure of  it's dealings under debt diplomacy, push for belt & road initiative, Confucius Institutes, it's tacit acts of meddling into internal politics of FVEY alliance & their associates etc, and due to the some  measures taken by US, Chinese economy is under pressure. But will it buckle to the extent that it can be balkanized ?.

As it can anticipated, China could not display all this audacity, if their strength was just limited to trade surpluses, T-bonds & forex reserves. They have managed to create assets, eco-systems & systems which they intend to use to achieve it's goal of creating alternate world order, that would exist & function outside the realms of current world order.

  The questions which needs to be answered is, did China manage to achieve any strategic strength(s) of value, which would provide it with a quantum jump over it's rival powers in terms of competitive advantage ?.

What would be it's chosen theater(s) for out competing the existing world powers ?. In which fields it assesses, that existing world power are on weaker grounds or their competitive advantages are short lived ?. In which field it would precisely push to establish it's supremacy ?.

Knowledge is power & it is a great leveler in present times.

With tactics of China under full open glare, it is likely to pull back & work in field of artificial intelligence, while keeping the west engaged & busy in regions like SCS & issues like large scale illegal immigration, promoting & fanning religious fault lines within the western societies etc.

AI has application in biotech, robotics etc but China is likely to work in a field where it's advantages & supremacy can be used to hoodwink & out-wit it's adversaries, so as to be in position to dictate it's terms. One such field in controlling weather patterns & climate. Other would be controlling vast amount of energy harnessed from sun or fusion or any other natural process.

China reminds of the Joker in Batman series!.

Great Game II : For God, glory & gold.

Global power like Britain has an moral obligation to assess, reassess & assert it's order & rules of institutions, which it had put in place over the centuries, at lot of cost to all & everyone. It is also obliged to counter threats to the existing order, from adversaries with malefic intentions of usurping the benefits of order, while undermining the very institutions they intend to destroy & replace with nothing in return, which current order sustains in spite of all its' shortcomings. Myth of global warming.

A lot is being said about, how the greenhouse gases are contributing to global warming. A major chunk of these gases come from industrial units, and automobiles running on oil. As per widely held theory, oil  is formed by decomposition of carcass of animals of prehistoric times. With millions of cars in any given city of world, & so many vehicles, aircraft & other mode of transportation operating on oil all around the globe, it is wonder as to how many carcass of animals or dinosaurs would have dwelt on this globe, to run all these machines even for one hour ?  Theory of 'oil from dinosaurs' implies that the oil tankers that move around us, are in  fact the silos of dinosaurs' DNA!.
